You were sitting on a bench, mentally cursing yourself as the cold night air cut through your light t-shirt. It had been perfect attire for the pleasantly sunny day but was hardly appropriate for the night’s decreased temperatures. Looking down at the Doctor, you extended a friendly hand and helped him back onto his feet. He thanked you quietly and rubbed the back of his head in pain. "Sorry about that," you laughed awkwardly, "It's just... instincts." The Doctor diverted his gaze from you and nodded. "What are you doing here, anyway?" You asked curiously, although you knew all too well that where the Doctor was - trouble wasn't far behind. "I, erm, came to see you," he said, "You know, long time no see." You studied his expressions closely, noting that his big brown eyes seemed even sadder and heavier than ever. With a warm smile to mask your worry, you invited him i
